Some suggestions, tell the cops now and give them a description of the car and the lady. Then ride the same area at the same time for a week or so. She might just show up creature of habit and schedule. Maybe just sit on the side of the road and wait. Then if your lucky you can get her plate. Tell the cops, in most states it is illegal to leave the scene of an accident. If the cops do nothing see if you can get her name and address and sue her in small claims or even regular court depending how much the cost of repair is.Good Luck if you have any questions post some more I will try to help.

Well mI have spent the last two days looking for the woman but I think she was probably and illegal from down south of us but I bet she never goes that way again. The bike is not that bad I rode i it to work last night rides fine. just mostly cosmetic stuff that really can be replaced myself. I just hate shelling out the money for it. but you got to love ebay there when you need them have already found the primary cover and turn sing was going to get a new windshield anyway it was a old one I had in the garage for a long time. and was going to change out the derby cover anyway but would have been nice to sell it to someone it was a nice one. But I am glad it was not worse than it was could have been traffic and I could have gotten really hurt. and now I have to watch out for volvos too...lol
