Looking around for a used Dyna. Trying to figure out what improvements were made on what years. I know that:
2007 - 96 inch engine
2006 - 6 speed transmission
that's about all I know about Dyna's for now. I'm wondering if someone can tell me when other significant changes were made (fuel injection for instance), and if some of these changes were options for a while before they became standard.
If I were to buy a late model HD....I would look for 2007 year model. For price and the larger engine, and one year newer....2007 for sure.
Having said that.....1998 was the last for me. The EVO and the five-speed has proven itself over and over again. The newer ones are pretty fast.....but then again, HD's weren't designed to be the fastest either. If I want fast....I'll buy an airplane or a crotchrocket.
