'99 low rider, 17k miles. Check engine light comes on randomly when riding at highway speeds. Maybe comes on during 1 out of 3 rides. Stays on between 3 -10 seconds. Only comes on when at speeds of 45 ish or more. Completely random and can't make it duplicate on my own. A slight and 1 second "sluggish" feel and then the light comes on. Has only done it when outdoor temps are 95 degrees and up. Battery cables are tight. Oil level is fine and oil is fresh. Spark plug cables are good. Spark plugs are new. Not sure how to get engine codes. Not in my clymer. Watched a few you tube videos on how to get codes, but doing this process shows me no error codes, just the normal readout and no error codes. Any help or suggestions. I have no clue where to start. It runs fine and I have been continuing to ride it. Thanks.
