Congrats above! I've been digging Bob (short for Roberta). She definitely rides better than Silvia. I did just pick up a used clip on windshield yesterday for her.

Speaking from experience, search your heart and/or talk openly about how you feel regarding your friend modifying "your" bike. If he takes it a direction you wouldn't, it could bother you some.

Didn't think about that...well I'm not in a huge rush to sell it. Might have to hold on to it or sell it to a stranger (that doesn't live near me)

Imaging pink tassels, a hideous paint job and ridden once a year. That might cause me to tear up.

Yeah I'm tossing around the idea of making it my spare/project bike (especially after seeing your lazarus thread). Not hurting for space or money so I may keep it around.

Only thing better than owning one bike is owning two, right?

(Sorry lifestarts@40, didn't mean to jack the thread, congrats on the new bike. Interested to see a picture of the bike with the windshield and couldn't agree with you more about the 'quietness' just ordered all the stage 1 stuff today so I can actually hear it and be heard)

I probably have the record traded my 03 1200 after only 2 weeks and got a 07 Super Glide Custom. I've been tossing around the idea of a windshild for the winter months but I don't like the way they look. Looks vs ride time.
