Introducing Bob...
So here she is... 2016 Street Bob. Coming from my raw hard riding Iron, this bike is like going from a Geo Metro to a Cadillac. I love the mini apes and how the bike just fits my 5'10" 190 pound 32" inseam body. It just fits. I originally was thinking I HAD to go with some forward controls, but now that I've put some miles on it, the mids might just stay.
A weird thing that I can't figure out is the difference in buffeting issues. I put a windshield on my Iron because the buffeting was unbearable at regular highway speeds. I took the windshield off to drop my Iron off at the dealer and got a reminder how bad the buffeting was. Here's the weird part... I noticed it on my test ride a month ago and yesterday too, the Bob has nowhere near the amount of buffeting as the Iron. I'm talking about faster speeds too. Don't get me wrong, I can't hear the Bob above 25 mph, but my body doesn't seem to get blasted like it did on the Iron. Still see a windshield in my future.
Another interesting thing is that the Bob is way more quiet than the Iron was in terms of both engine noise and exhaust sound. Stock, I could hear the mufflers on the Iron all the way up to 45-50 mph. The Bob is so toned down, anything past say 30 mph, the wind noise totally drowns it out.
As soon As I got it home, I installed my Day Maker and my Custom Dynamics LED's on all 4 corners. Any way, I'm diggin' this Bob! Going to put some more miles on her today!
These are the pics I took a month ago when I test rode it...

I can't imagine trading after only a year. I kinda envy people with that kind of a credit&cash situation, but I'm not sure I could do it even if I could afford it.

Welcome to the Dyna side of life...
To answer a question above, this is my second HD that I've owned. I traded the first. Wish I could afford both bikes though... that would be awesome!
