Nothing new to report after one week. I picked up a used windshield and am very happy with it. At 300 miles and with the windshield, I can hear all the valvetrain chatter. LOL. I will say that it's there but nowhere near as noisy as my 883 was.
I still love the ride compared to the sporty. I've read a lot on the forums how crappy the suspension is but my perspective is way different coming from a sporty. To me and what I'm used to, it rides WAY smoother.
Now that I have the windshield, I can hear the exaust a little. It makes keeping the right rpm's and shift points easier. When I couldn't hear, I was shifting a little early. Hard to notice though because it has a lot of grunt.
Looking forward to getting an exhaust, AC, and a tuner. I can tell it will make a big difference. The way it is now, I can hear decel pop stock. I can only imagine how lean it is. LOL
