I'm thinking of getting some of the Compact Slants and mounting them up with Easy Brackets.
How's the quality of these bags?Does"you get what you pay for" apply to these? How long have you had them? Just how rigid is the plastic in them? Would you buy them again? In general, tell me about them!!
ok here is the deal they are great bags I laid my bike down in the rain last monday and the bags saved the back of my bike from getting scrached up. And there is no dammage to the the plastic inside is still good and I have had mine about five years and put them on three different bikes here is a pick of the bag that sild along the road. they are very soft and really easy to clean
I highly recommend the W&M bags - for the price (under $100 shipped if you shop around) they can't be beat! Fit well, solid quality & stitching, good looks (like leather), and seem to hold up well. Just not the biggest capacity, but enough for some spares, light coat, rain gear, misc stuff, etc. If you need to balance out your load, a six pack fits pretty well, too!

I read in another post somewhere that Ghost Brackets are better than Easy Brackets because the backing plate is bigger/stiffer and keeps the bags off your paint. I don't have either but I'm just passing it on.
I have a set of W&M compact slants that I throw on the Superglide when I need to carry stuff. You're not going to mistake them for $1,000 bags, but they're OK. Fastener catches are plastic, but that hasn't been a problem for me so far (I've had 'em just 4 months now.) Personally, for me, not being top-of-the-line is a plus -- I have no instict to baby them. They're good, hard-working bags.
Thanks on the responses guys .... I've searched the forum the last few days about these bags .... but I put this post up up to see what the Dyna Crew had to say. Most of what I've read has been pretty positive on the W&M stuff. Keep the info coming ....
Go through my photo album. I run two different sets of Willie and Max bags different times of the year. They are affordable and do the trick well. I like how they look better than most more expensive bags. Easy on and off. I would like to be able to get the HD detatchable bags for my bike, but I can't seem to part with the exorbitant amount of moolah that HD wants.
