Default West Coast MXT bars vs Lucky Daves San Diego bars

trying to decide between the two. The WC MXT bars are 31" end to end while the Lucky Daves are only 28" wide. Does anyone have experience with both or some feedback. Does the 28" make a difference in comfort or handling feel? The bars would actually be going on a 2010 RG club style but no one in the Touring section can help with club style

I can only speak on behalf of the Lucky Dave's, but I will say I picked my Brother in Laws bike up from the shop the other day (has lucky 13s which, which are pullback san diego bars) and I solved my debate on what to get and ordered a pair that night.

I can't speak for Dave's but I did have west coast t bars on my club style road glide. The 31" spread was perfectly comfortable and I can't say it was better or worse than my previous dyna which had some 28" width t bars (can't remember the company of those). I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Best thing I can do is measure across and place your hands in that relative location and see which one feels right.

I have run 28" and 31" wide Tbars and for me the narrow bars are more comfortable. Wide bars tend to feel more like ape's and I feel like I'm a sail catching wind when I ride with wide bars.

However, comparing the WCMXT Bars with the LD bars is kind of comparing green apples and red apples. If you want narrow, check out the WC Slingshot Bars. I run 12" slingshots on my DL-S and they are also 28" wide, and appear to be very similar to the LD bars. The slingshot bar is quality construction and what sold it for me was the WC bars taper down from 1 1/4" to 1" which I think is a cleaner look compared to the step down on most bars. Obviously that is purely subjective. From the time I ordered them to arrival was about 10 days and with the Veteran Discount the price delivered was about $230.00. I run a LD seat and if the bars are the same quality, you can't go wrong with either.

I have 12" WC bars. I love them. They are comfortable and look great.

If I had to do it again, I would try the lucky daves, simply to get a bit narrower so I can lane split easier.

If lane splitting was no concern, then all I can say are the WC bars are great.

Ive ridden with both, i like the lucky dave just for the simple fact of width. However being you have a road glide you may not even mind the extra width on the WCMX, its going to come down to what width you'd prefer man. Hope you're going at least 14, nothing cooler than a bagger with tall bars.

West Coast Slingshots are nearly exactly the same as the Lucky Daves. Pull back, 28" wide, rise... It's all nearly the same. I run the 12" West Coast Slingshots, and have also risen a bike with the lucky Daves, and I really think it's unnoticeable. Honestly, go with whatever you can get your hands on easiest.

I run similar dimension mx-t bars that someone makes locally, and the extra width isn't a problem for me lane splitting in southern california. The only time I can't make it work is when slimmer bars wouldn't fit either, like when both cars are driving on the inside of their lanes (somehow not noticing they are only about a foot away from each other). I'm 6'4" with wide shoulders, so the wider bars feel pretty good to me, although sometimes I wonder if I should have gone with normal T bars. If you are a smaller guy, then the skinnier ones will probably be more comfortable. Hell, if you are running a seat that pushes you back or anything and your arms aren't too long the lucky daves bars with some pullback would probably be super comfy.

I had Fxr Division split angle max bars on my road glide 14" and loved them , would go bars and risers next time though.
