Check this guy out. I know that he's done ATV's and some bikes. Ask him about wrapping bikes. I've seen his work and watched him do a tin set for a bike. NO problems with wraps peeling off. If the vinyl peals then I think it's an issue of preparation before applying it.
Use 3M Primer 94 to avoid heat peeling off the vinyl from the edges.
The rear fender is a PAIN IN THE ***, its better to do it on 3 layers (top and both sides) and use the primer well unless you want the sun to peel off the edges.
Be careful with any metallic things that may hit the tank as it will damage the vinyl.
The tank can be done in two layers, right and left, leaving the "cut" below the dash panel.
Any questions just ask, I have wrapped a batwing too so I've got some experience in harley wrapping.
Good work. Can you show a close up of the rear fender? How much does the seam between the vinyl show through?

I do not have closeups pics at hand atm, but that picture was from the first attempt, that attempt was with a single vinyl piece stretching it and it didn't work good at all.
The second attempt was by doing it on a 3 piece, top, right and left, without much luck anyway, I didn't let the prime 94 cure and some of the edges came away anyway.
There's a youtube video about a guy wrapping the rear fender on vinyl.
Has anyone here had their tins vinyl wrapped? I am having a hard time finding references so thought I'd ask. I am planning on stripping my bike (2001 super glide) apart here in the next couple of weeks (after I move) and having my tins wrapped. I love that Red Sunglow color so I'm leaning toward some kind of sexy red like that, then have them use the new decal badge from the 2017 lowrider. Post pictures or advice for me, thanks in advance.
If it's a vinyl wrap, contact Gatorwraps, they wrap all kinds of crazy things and lettering decals. You might also want to check Gatorprints.
