Attempted to start my 2007 streetbob this evening and it didn't kick over.....so I
inserted keys
turned on ignition (ignition noise sounded)
lights came on with ignition
pressed starter button
it then had like a sound as if it was trying to kick over but wouldn't....soon as i let go of the starter button it did the same noise as the ignition again???
Critter nailed it; your battery has shuffled off this mortal coil; deceased.
Replace it with a Yuasa GYZ20HL; same price as the Deka batteries you'll find online but the Yuasa is a superior battery; my GYZ20HL is 320 CCA and 20 Ah; the HD/Deka batteries are 310 CCA and 17.5 Ah; and if you don't have a Battery Tender, be sure to get one...
