That paint has turned this into one of my most favorite bikes here, seat goes great too but that paint, wow, show bike stuff
What are you doing with the wheels? I'm a big fan of the LR wheels but on the LR-S' they really need a different color.
I'd like to see more of the LR-S owners doing custom paint, they need to get off their keesters and get jiggy with it!
Like mentioned earlier too, for those that haven't used a Mityvac, get one when you do your brakes, simple and best results for bleeding!
Looking good
Almost forgot, would love to see the fender struts painted to match the flames, is it too late to make that small change
So Im just going then basic gloss black, later on when I need new rotors and what not I may get some aftermarket wheels. But we will see. I thought about matching the paint on the struts. I picked up some strut covers and I may paint match those but I'll have my leatherpros mounted probably 90% of the time so they'll probably end up getting powdercoated black.
Als, I put on a flush mount fuel cap and gauge, the ring around the gas cap lifted from the adhesive?!? Weird? Anyone else ever have this issue? Im kind of bummed about it, easy fix, but still. Heres another shot of the paint since I love it so much!
The ring has to be lined up right to match the curve of the tank. I did the same thing. IIR, theres a notch on the underside of the ring that has to be at 12:00 on the cap looking at it from seated position...
lol...had to bro...pictures don't do this paint justice, one of the best traditional flame paint jobs I've seen...can't wait to see it out in the SoCal sun.
****in badass bro. It's definitely lookin good. I too have the flush mount fuel guage/cap kit. I had it on my street bob for 10k miles with no problems, I have had it on my lrs for 5500 miles and have gone through 5 trim rings so far. I've tried adhesive promoter and everything and I just can't get the ****in thing to stay for more than a couple weeks.

I've heard this a lot. I was planning to put them on my Low Rider S, but now I think I'm good with the stock caps.
