had my dyna speedo buried and still pulling more times than i care to admit. i'm sure that 130 isn't a problem as long as you have room to get up there. may have to work out the drive ratios vs tach to see what is mathematically possible.
I have gone close to 110 in 5th on my 88inch street bob several times, but when you stick it into 6th it does a totalface plant. It doesnt have enough cylinder head (stock heads, extremely low performance), or camshaft (stock cams)to pull such a tall gear.As for the 96 inchers vd the 95s, Im not convinced the 96 is that much better.Imnot changing flywheels until this thing starts knocking, or leaking at the case seams. It seems to methe 4 inch stroke motor would rev up better, and be easier on rings & pistons anyway.

freak, on the computer screen, I am sure I could show you way over 140,
if I so please.
When the rubber meets the road,
I will guarantee you there is absolutely no way your machine
will see anywhere near 130, much less 140.
Mathematically impossible - (unless maybe if you sink about 6-7 grand into it).

120 and a smidge more (I don't really look at the speedo going that fast). I was WOT for a long *** time on the Illinios flatland. The bike "MIGHT" have 125 in it with a smaller rider.
I do however top 100 often. I will cruise at 80-85 all the time.
I will say that the front suspension needs some works to handle at those speeds though.
MUD- We require a picture with every post you make....lol...please
i've had 112-115 (didn't wanna look at the speedo too long!!) and it was still pulling, i think the forcewinder really gets a ram-air effect at about 60 and at 80 or so, there's got to be 2lbs of pressure/boost easy.
i with my hands kinda in the air, i gave up after that. i really like to see what i'd get with some clip-ons, a little cowling and my feet on the p-pegs. i bet i'd push well into the 20's
One day you will ride the 96" see how much better they are than 95".
I'm not buyin' it either. The 96's are only marginally better than the 88's in stock form. Only a slight increase in torque. The biggest benefit to the 96's is how easily they can be made into a 103" or 110". No more multi-thousand dollar stroker upgrade.
