ok im going to try to get this all done tonight. I am going to be posting my installation of the se 117 kit step by step. this is in no way a how to, just a thread to show others just how easy this install is. if I can do it, anyone can do it. you NEED a shop manual. you just have to have the specs, sequence, correct component position, etc. this is time consuming, but it is very doable for anyone mechanically inclined, with the necessary tools. I would greatly appreciate it if nobody responds until I finish posting all of the pictures, that way anyone who wants to use this as guidance doesn't have to sift through all the posts. thank you in advance.
Im resurrecting this thread just to say Jesus Christ that was impressive. 3 hours!?!? Mad respect to you sir.
Well thank you sir Im glad you like it. As far as 3 hours goes, Im not sure where you read that but If I said it only took 3 hours it was a mistake.
I must have misunderstood you when you said Im going to try and get this done tonight lol I was just going by the time stamps on your posts. Either way, still a damn fine job.
Too cool. How man miles on the engine when you did this?
It had about 4300ish. Dont remember exact amount but I didnt have the bike long before I did the upgrade. I traded my 15 fxdb in specifically so I could do this because all my accessories fit and it was already blacked out.
Got this FatBoyS and readyto do this 110 to 117 install via the HD kit. Can I get a Hell Ya! Love this information and post. Thank you sir For giving us this plethora Of information. Got a reasonable deal on the Kit and also had to get the Elite performance AC for it. Should be here Monday. I've already been using Power Vision and have the target Tune WB O2 'a I have to instal . Was pondering how to get the Compression to 10:1 and if by doing this via cos head gasket and decking if I would cause interference. I'll keep you all posted.

Its Here!! Just gotta get a few tools. Stuff like Bike jack, inner Cam Bearing Puller, Pinion Shaft Runout tool. Gotta start some where. I wonder how much torque these Badges add? My buddy offered me cash for the Badges in the interest of a "Budget Build" for his bike. That away he can go around and brag how Badass it is but never race anyone because it's in the break-in Period. To funny.

Got it all back together. I opted for a cam change on my 117. I chose the TTS-150. Cometic .030 head gasket and ported matches the heads. Also swapped the lifters for Slow bleed downs I believe most call them B lifters. Thanks for the write up again. It gave me the courage to tackle this. I just have to slap the tank on and Tune with the TTS. Before
