Yep totally agree you would have thought by now the Moco would have found some kind of compound that does not crap out with a bit of oil on it, hope all goes well, keep us informed how fast they deliver and how it goes, every little experience helps someone else, it was because of this forum I discovered True track, and am very happy because I had exactly your problem on my 2007 wide glide, really scary stuff, and it gets worse when you are fully loaded in a sweeper.

Seems like a 2015 wouldn't have an issue with a rotted out motor mount just yet. How often do you ride that bike? Is the front tire cupped?

Those isolators can fail at any time I was having shuddering, and all sorts of odd vibrations; replaced my front isolator with 600 miles on the ODO; the bike wasn't properly aligned when she was shipped out and it caused stress on the isolator and the rubber collapsed contacting the engine bracket.

I replaced the isolator myself and performed the vehicle/engine alignment; I needed to shim out the front isolator and use longer grade 8 bolts, but since then, I've experienced zero issues with the isolator.

I've always believed that poor vehicle/engine alignment and oil contamination are the main causes of the isolator failure.

Yet another reason why I've done an oil filter relocation

front tire still looks fine. i always check air pressure. i bought it brand new in 15 but then had some medical issues and just got back into riding it again in the past few months. i mostly just commute on it, i try to ride 3 or 4 days out of the week. i ride it hard, pretty much like i stole it...

+1 on TinCupchalice post, and I say even more if you ride it like you stole it, get them extra Stabilisers on, you will not regret it, remember Eric Buell says 3 stabilisers should be on all dynas, yet Harley scrimped and saved and only put one on, look at the sportsters they are rubber mounted, but with 3 stabilisers and they do not wobble out of the box.

Hey D, how can I tell if my OEM motor mount is bad on my 2002 wide glide. I know its old. Would like to put the predator on it.

True track is 2 stabilisers for the front and rear, it basically locks your ride up tight like the Sportsters, however before you put on True Track you still need to get a new motor mount for the front, so cheapest way is the Predator system, that way you get a motor mount and a stabiliser for the front, if you feel the need for the rear stabiliser, you can always get the Sputhe it is the same as True track, except Alain at Sputhe will sell you the rear only, True Track only sell front and rear.

Unless you have handling problems, and have loads of miles on the ride, maybe your mount is fine, it is quite a lottery of those that fail and others last for ages, for sure oil is a major enemy, but given the age of your ride, it will do no harm to change the mount and go with a predator, you are basically just making your ride safer, at no major extra cost, just my 2 cents.

after looking at the instructions, i think the true track might not fit on my bike. i just installed an ultracool oil cooler and there isnt much room behind it. i just ordered the predator mount. ill try that first and go from there.
