yea but it'll be expensive. But you'll probably never need more than a 124 will give you

If you're wanting 120+ HP, probably. A TC88 with 98" cylinders, higher compression pistons, a real aggressive cam, CNC head porting, lifters, high flow injectors, a larger throttle body, valve enlarging, compression releases, and roller rockers with a higher ratio would get you to about the same mark but would also cost $3000-$3500 in parts and machine work alone. You might want to look in to a JIMS engine or something.

whats jims engine, after weighing everything out id rather just sell the used motor and make some cash then take the money i make off that then add a little more and buy a complete motor the T124 I was looking at from s&s is only 6,500 and ive seen a few high mileage TC88's going for 1,600 on ebay and 2,500 locally so if I can get 2 grand for my used motor then buy the other motor then technically im only spending 4,500 that sound perfect to me then I got all that motor on a fresh build

You'll never see 2K on a used TC88. More along the lines of 1K . Then you have to take into consideration of bullet proofing the rest of the drivetrain. Also that 124" S&S doesn't include a throttlebody or injectors. Gonna be a lot more than you're thinking of.

OldEnuf makes a good point, your transmission and fueling will need some work to go along with a bigger engine. If money is not an object and you really want a 120+ HP bike go for it. It sounds like you might be spending $6000-$7000 on parts and that is if you are doing the wrenching and sell your engine. You can get to 110-115 HP with that TC88 for about $4000 in parts and machine work (I said $3000-$3500 but I forgot to factor in the CNC porting cost). Around 100 HP I spent about $2000 (didn't do the rockers, throttle body, enlarged injectors, enlarged valves, CNC porting)

Man, if your gonna pull the motor and replace it with the S&S T124, Why not go all out and put the T143 in there for another $2500? The you would be pushing 162hp and 151 lbs of torque!!!

The 143" would be a great choice, https://www.sscycle.com/products/t14...wrinkle-black/
Or, you could put in a S&S 126", (contact Derek at DC Vtwin for one as they are special order and not in the S&S catalog) like I have in my FXR, which comes out of the crate at 150/145 plus, and has plenty left in it to upgrade the power-which I did after several years riding with it in stock form. Don't mess this your stock motor-pull it out.
Either way, both make a lot more power than a crate 124", and will give you all you need to make your Dyna a street terror.
Don't forget you will need pipe, intake, clutch, chain drive, and possibly other upgrades along with a good tune to make it all happen.

A 143 would be ****in insane. I can't imagine a motor like that leaving any street manners in the ride. Plus at that point you really gotta start beefin up the primary components and probably the trans.

After all this reading and doing research i've already came to the conclusion that I will not mod the stock motor theres really no point just go ahead and put anther one and either sell my stock motor or keep it around for a backup if I cant flip it
