Default Jackyl, I am impressed!!!!

Needles to say I couldn't wait any longer so I installed the 2" tank lift. Man I never knew my jugs looked so good. Now I can even touch them. It does absolutey dress up the bike. It's what it has been missing. Not only does it look great--it's functional too. As soon as I got out on the road I noticed a huge difference in the amount of wind pressure no longer hitting my chest. Sure I could feel the air, but it no longer is trying to push me off the bike. How pleasant. Thanks fior a great product. And yes, the craftsmanship is first rate.

I'm curious, has anyone done the math on stock tank lifts?

Minimum32 pounds of fuel when it's full.

Anyone seen any ill effects in corners after raising it?

It's something we think about here in the mountains, with all the off-camber turns on asphalt roads.

WiseMX,
If there is any difference it is very slight. I'm sure that you can adjust to it. I didn't notice a whole lot of difference except now I can see my speedo and tach real well. These lifts are welded and the craftsmanship is excellent.

Gas only weights 6 lbs per gallon, and it's really not the weight but the sloshing of fuel that you'd be concerned with. With that about of weight tho, I wouldn't think it'd be anything that you'd be able to notice.

Oh jeez... Here we go getting all scientific and technical.

I guess technically, there is space in the upper forward corners of the tank but I haven't noticed any handling difference due to the "slosh" factor.
