So I wrapped up my primary rebuild this weekend. Unfortunately I went to started up and it cranks fine but does not start. It only pops and coughs out of the exhaust. The charge is great on the battery at 13.2. Spark test looks good as well. First question is can I do a cranking load test without the load test device depicted in the manual? Never had to use one of those before.
That's the only thing I could think of that would be related to the primary work. Unless something else just happened to fail at the same time. Rare, but it happens
Negative bc i did not come across that in the manual. Was ther something i needed to do to in fuse box related to the ecm bc i disconnected the battery. There is a PC5 in there btw
Shouldn't be. No wires related to the ignition were disconnected? On mine, the cam sensor wire (iirc) runs under the primary. Possible that you jostled or pinched that?
Did you check the fuel tank disconnect on the bottom of the fuel tank? You are getting air, getting spark, are you getting fuel. Or by chance did you remove the crank position sensor?

cggorman ill check that cam wire when i get home.
As for the crank sensor no I didn't remove that at least intentionally and ill check that as well.
yea that is actually my feeling that im getting air and spark but no fuel. I can check the fuel line easy enough
