I'm about to install new pipes and I'm trying to figure out what size O2 sensor socket I need to remove them from a 2016 Low Rider.
This is a big challenge for me as I'm not handy at all, but after installing my own bars and risers (3 day project for me) I have a different sense of pride every time I ride.
Unplug the wire from the sensor and remove them still installed in the header. Then, you can use a regular wrench to remove them. Install them in the new headers with anti-seize prior to placing the new headers. Keeps you from buying/having to use a specialty socket.

Or go to a local Auto parts supply store,, ask for rental or loan.
Our local AutoZone stores have O2 sensor socket set to loan for free.
They come as a set with a few sizes all with a slot for the cable.

This is what I did. Simple. your swapping the header out anyway right? Unplug and use a box wrench.

That's what I'm doing then, seems simple enough, I was even trying to get a small torque wrench for those, just to follow the service manual. Thanks for the advice.
If your going to start wrenching on your bike,, your going to need torque wrenches anyways. Do always check the Service Manual for torque specs and follow them,,

Absolutely. I have a 30 to 150 lb/ft, That won't work for O2 sensors and smaller stuff. I guess I'll invest in one.
Thanks for that. I do have the manual but didn't know about how delicate the head of the sensors was. I appreciate the tip.
Also do not get any antiseize on the heads or your ride will start throwing error codes, just put a tiny bit on the threads, and make sure you do not touch the heads with your fingers, and you will be good.
