Ordered this sissy bar from Edward Richie to replace my 2 piece sissy bar/luggage rack setup. I've really wanted a sissy bar with a welded on luggage rack and have had my eye on a ginz for a long time but can't justify spending that much cash for a freaking sissy bar and don't like Harley's options. Any way, found this guy on Etsy. He's got a few different designs he makes for Sportsters. Sent him a message about his "Pointed Traveller" bar to see if he could make it for dynas. 2 weeks later I got my new sissy bar with luggage rack.
Bolted up perfectly. Side plates are a little thicker than my old bar. Seems to be more rigid. I like the "handles" on the side and intend to use them as tie down points for luggage. Overall I'm really happy with this sissy bar. Ed was great to deal with. He typically replied to my messages within a hour.
I got the same bar for my FXLR, designed to go between the strut and fender body. Wondering if I should put a protective rubber washer between the sissy bar and the fender. Did that matter for your setup? Or am I worrying about nothing?
Bar looks good!
Some one asked for a pad they do make them for those.
Forget the company but I was going to order one when they got a new chrome person. But found one that bolted in my current side plates. 20in chrome one. Now just having a hard time finding a backrest pad for it.
