Fuel pump
So i rode to my sisters house which is 20 mins away. Bike rode fine. I was there for an hour, on my way home, my bike was cutting out bad at full throttle. So i pulled over to the side of the road to figure it out. Took about 10 mins of sitting for my bike to finally run right. Went home let it set for a while, i turned the ignition switch to on and instead of my fuel pump whine it made a funny buzzing type sound. And when i tried to start it, smoke came out of my intake filter. What could cause this? It took a while before my fuel pump would prime. Ive already replaced the system relay and fuel pump fuse. 2011 FXDC
A pinhole in the internal fuel line could be the problem. And maybe the buzzing you heard was the gas hitting the inside of the tank. It's more obvious with less gas in there, and you might even be able to see it.
Not sure what was coming out of the intake. If you want to change a relay try the fuel pump relay, too.
