For those of you that have gone big bore kit route, .. 103, 106, 107, 110...with other than stock cams, how many miles you got on your ride, and what issues have you seen related to the change?
The original owner of my 2000 88 had the motor built when it was about two years old. 95" Wiseco pistons, First SE 211 cams, then Andrews TW60s, quite a bit of headwork, manual compression relief valves, etc. After about 15,000 miles and fifteen years it was pinging under acceleration (despite taking out some spark advance), leaking moderately from the upper and lower rocker boxes, and burning some oil (not terribly). I'm in the process of a full freshening now, but I probably could've just resealed the rockers and cleaned all of the oil/carbon deposits out of the heads and pistons and ridden it for quite a bit longer before the oil burning really got obnoxious...
17 lrs with se 117 street kit. About 5000 miles so far but I just installed it in feb. only issue so far is it runs a lot hotter but it's nothing that can't be fixed. I love it.
About 5k on a fuel moto 107" kit with woods cams. Last fall I sheared all the splines of the interior of a Andrews 30t pulley and grenades my compensator. New pulley and SE comp now. No issues since.
SE 585 cams on the 110 since 100 miles. 5K with a canned tune, and 1K since the dyno tune. All I want is more power. Thinking about the FM 113 kit, with the 999 cams and 10.5 heads. I worry the bottom end can't take it, though

I was afraid that was going to happen to me, so I went straight to the 117", after a couple years as a cammed 103". Glad I did. I can't imagine wanting more power on a Dyna.
