I went with 14 apes and a 1.5 riser, plenty of wire was left stuffed in the frame.

No, sorry that was on a 15 Wide Glide. OE it had a 6 inch riser and a drag-style bar.

Aye, it's been a while since I did it, but I remember pulling the wires out of the bottom of the frame just above the engine, connecting them, then tucking them back into the frame and replacing the plastic frame cap that covers the hole. Plenty of wire when converting from the OEM mini apes to 14" narrow apes.

ok thats definitely comforting because I believe the wide glide is the same setup as the lrs. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Thank you

My brother and I will be installing 12" Lucky Dave's San Diego Bars with +6 brake and clutch from Magnum Shielding on Sunday on my FXDLS.

Big thanks to the OP because I will be opening the box from Magnum Shielding tonight and would probably be pretty upset seeing the jigsaw ABS block at first.
