So the other day I removed my Screamin Eagle Ventilator Air Cleaner Kit and replaced it with a DK Customs Outlaw HiFlow 587 Air Cleaner System. Same system I had on my Sportster. Now the Sportster blew lots of crap into the catch can. And this one really doesn't blow much of nothing into the catch can.
I also have the breather bolts on my Fat Bob. I keep the crank oil level at half on the dip stick and get little to no mist. Any mist that comes out of the front bolt gets caught by the air filter and what comes out of the rear is so minuscule, a quick wipe of the front of the battery cover and its gone. Keep your oil level at half on the stick and you won't have any problems.
I'll tell you next week, when I get my replacement breather kit. Tried the Stealth Kit, but didn't like it...swapping with their Premium Discrete setup.
