Default Front burly lowering question

Hello. Quick question, which I am guessing has been covered numberous times but I can't seem to find the info anymore. I am (finally) installing the front half of my burly slammer kit due to the fact that I put a 23" wheel up front. It sits too high in the front now (obviously). So, I'm putting my burly kit up there to bring it back down. It's in a 2012 street bob. My question is... it seems like I read you don't need to install the bottom out springs on the damper, which the instructions say you have to. So, can I just throw the springs in and cut the spacer down to where it needs to be? Or do I need to pull out the dampers and put in the damper springs that are included and the kit says I need?

When I had/did mine, I replaced and used everything in the kit as well as switched over to the SE fork oil. Change the oil and don't slam it right out of the gate.Go too low and you'll hate it. You can also slide your forks up your tress a bit to keep the ride decent.

I don't have room to slide forks up due to road6customs bars. I actually had to lower the forks in the triple so I could get my bars on without contact.

But my question is do I need to install all of it? Or just the main springs and the spacer if needed? I just put the 23" on the front, and I've already installed the rear potion of the slammer kit 4 years ago. I just need to put the slammer kit in to get it closer to lever due to the 23" wheel. Do I need to install the damper springs or can I get by with just the main springs?
