Bar Install
Hi i have started the install of my new street slammer bars i am NOW looking at the service manual and I see the it say to put a shim between the break lever and the mount well i did not do that how would I know if I am screwed ? also were do my wires get disconected so i can run them in the bars? I am lost do I need to pull the tank?

There's a chance of breaking the brake lite switch if ya forget the shim. Heard its a real pita to change if you do. You can check it by turning the ign switch on and if the brake lite is on without pulling the lever its broke. Got my fingers crossed for ya! Im not sure about the wiring on a dyna. On my sporty I just raised the front of the tank to get to the plugs.
