Hey guys,
Just picked up a pair if mini floorboards from San Diego customs .. Quick review..
1. Well made sturdy product.
2. Easy to install, took about 5 min per side, including adjusting the angle of the boards.
3. Shorter then standard pegs, I had an issue with scraping my pegs on my street bob and this solved that as well.
4. Very comfortable on your feet, like resting your foot on a bicycle pedal.
... A little pricey at 230.00 but what the hell, they look cool too.. I picked mine up in their show room here in SD but I know they have a decent website too.. Just wanted to share my experience with their product..
My thoughts are the same as the OP, I've had mine on for awhile, and before I got underway I rode through all weather conditions, including heavy rain. I didn't have any issues.
When I get back next year it'll be winter so I'll experience snow with them as well as I live in the mountains in San Diego. If I have issues i'll definitely post about it.
Get 'em wet and see how well your feet stay on the boards.
I have unfortunately been caught quite a few times in the rain since installing mine. The pyramid texture has kept my foot locked in place well. I'll assist in the photo department!
