did you hear the applause when that fat bob rolled out... it was the only bike that got anything above a golf clap.
I love my '14 Fat Bob, but damn the new one is sexy.

I'll be at the dealer tomorrow giving them a deposit for one of the first 114" models to hit the UK. September 30th will be the ride away date apparently. I've test ridden a few M8s and it's a great engine. Stock it's too quiet - but then what HD hasn't been for a while anyway. It'll need cams, pipes and an AC, but then what stock HD doesn't....

114" engine, upgraded front suspension, rear monoshock. More performance and better handling. What's not to like?

Oh yeah - the smaller fuel tank. But fuel economy should be a bit better anyway, so probably 130-150 miles between fills. I can live with that.

Other than that, I love my Dyna, but times change. I just wish they hadn't called the new one a "Softail" though. Should have had a whole new range name for the new frames.

I have a 1980 FXWG Shovelhead for my old school fix. That's not a Dyna either, but is the precursor to it.

The Street Bob was my favorite. I still miss my '06. However, the '18 with the mono-shock looks tough. I like it, a lot...

The Fat Bob looks better for 2018 than ever IMO. It looks like a MF beast!

For the bones HD wants for the Fat Bob I'd just buy a Ducati XDiavel S and smoke that Fat Bob; an M8 114ci against the S? Not even a comparison...

That's a silly thing to write. Why are you riding a Harley? They aren't performance based. I can smoke any Harley with a CBR 300.

I can appreciate the frame improvements, but the "B" motor is what killed the Softail for me personally...now they've put TWO counterbalancers in the M8 Softail...Might have lost me. I'll ride one, but I'll be surprised if I like it. There's plenty of other bikes to go fast on. Only one felt like a Harley.

Not a silly thing at all; I ride HD for the visceral connection to the elemental experience of motorcycling; road, wind, and sky. But HD isn't the only thing that sits in my garage. When I want to feed the beast and see Jesus before I brake I have toys for that as well

it would be smarter($) to buy the 107 then drop in a se114 or se117 kit. looks like there is some reason why you can't go from 107 to 117.... not sure why... may just be bullshi*
