Hi everyone. I recently purchased a 5" speedometer replacement for my 2017 Dyna Street Bob, which has a stock 4" speedometer. When I ordered it from Harley I told them the model of my bike so I assumed it would fit... nope. I really like the speedometer so rather than return it to Harley and install the one I just removed, I'd rather find a 5" console (black to match). Hoping you guys could recommend a console replacement with a 5" insert. I've tried several websites and haven't been able to find one.
Thanks in advance!!!!

I took off the 4" and black dash about 5 years ago. Put a 5" on with a chrome Super Glide dash. Had to cut down the mounts to get it flush with the tank. You can mix n match damn near anything with a Dyna . . . just takes a little ingenuity.
If I had a shop and the tools I'd be on it already. Unfortunately I'm working far away from home and just have my bike and basic tools. So I'm looking for something made to order and easy to install.
Not sure why Harley even sold me the 5" knowing it wouldn't fit. Are other models 5"?

I've considered getting a 5" speedo as well. Which one did you get?
Wide Glide is probably a good bet, but Look up the speedometers part number here and see what bikes use it. Those bikes should have the correct console.

Your '17 Street Bob is CANbus; I'd doubt that gauge will work correctly even if you do find a proper console
The #70900475 4" gauge on my Wide Glide:
My OCD is tingling. Is that speedo level?
Edit: How easily our brains are fooled. The photo is canted a couple of degrees making the speedo look off, even though I saw the angle. Rotate the iPad a degree counterclockwise and voila, looks right.
She was up on the J&S when I grabbed that image so I was stretching up to take the image with the iPad. It's absolutely level; my OCD is perhaps worse than your's is
I still want to hear back from the OP; I can't see how a pre-CANbus gauge is going to work on his '17. CANbus is touchy about such things
