the other day as I was leaving work the Dyna wouldn't start as if the battery was dead, I assumed it was and pushed the bike to a parking space with an outlet and put the trickle charger on it, after a few minutes I tried to start it, I got mad and started rapidly mashing the start button- that got it to fire up

since then I have to do that here and there, rapidly push the start button to get it started

any idea on this one? could it be in the switch, relay, solenoid?

Time to pull out the wiring diagram and DVM.

Just make sure your battery and ground connections are clean and tight.
