Hi Guys; I've just bought a 2008 FXDC. Love it. On my previous bike there was a little compartment under the seat that I used to store paperwork for the bike in case I got pulled over by the cops. The FXDC does not have a similar spot under the seat. Is there a place on the FXDC (no saddlebags or fairing) to store my registration and insurance paperwork?
Cheers
I've got a San diego customs handle bar bag. But I dont really need it just for paperwork, in MO where I am as long as your license plate tag is current that proves current registration and insurance card kept in my wallet is sufficient.
You could still store that stuff in a Ziploc bag in the rats nest hold under the seat if you wish, albeit not the best option. Also some companies sell little tubes that clamp to the frame down tubes for paperwork storage.

I have a Bad&G battery bag that I keep my registration/insurance in a waterproof container and love it, its small but big enough for gloves and or a hat and glasses as well.

+1 on the battery bag. Excellent place for documents and a clear glasses/gloves.
