Load regulator needed???
Hey dudes,
planning on ordering a custom dynamics license plate LED rear signal kit & joker machine front LED turn signals for my 09 FXDC. Curious as to whether or not I need a load regulator, and if so, one or two? Not quite positive how everything wires together.

Depends on the size of the equalizer. I did a cycle vision rear light on my '09 and they specifically told me not to use the equalizer that comes with it but instead I had to buy another one from them. This other one was physically bigger.
I tested with the smaller one to see what would happen. It worked but wasn't enough. So my lights wouldn't flash quick but id get a flashing red key in between each flash. When using the equalizer they told me to I didn't have this issue.
Months later I added custom dynamics front LEDs. I added the smaller load equalizer that I had left over, the flashing red key came back. So I know I need a bigger one.
Given my experience, you'll probably need two. Although I think you can get an adjustable one (badlands?).

Yes,youll need one. Its plug and play and will do all the things youre planning.
