I have a 2016 wide glide and I want to replace rocker box bolts with chrome ones .the question is where is the best place to buy the bolts and should I get a gasket .it only has 500 miles on it so far and I wasn't sure if I could change one at a time in sequential order without removing rocker boxes .
Do them one at a time and you shouldn't have any problems. Consider Diamond Engineering polished stainless bolts. They are first class act, thought a bit pricey. Avoid the Chinese ****...you will be sorry in the long run.
The majority of the bolts on my bike are polished ARP stainless (17-4 PH @ 170,000psi). Most came from Alloyboltz.com. They have nicely organized and labeled kits for most sections of the bike.
