V&H Slip-ons question
Hey gang,
So, ordered a set of Straightshot HS Slip-ons.... Now, I'm still well under the 1000 mile tuneup (actually, only 186 miles!) Do you guys think that I should put 'em on so early in the bike's run? Oh, and fyi I'm getting the quiet baffles....

I ran both on my 07 Street Bob for a couple of months without doing anything to the FI. I wrapped some stainless steel wire around the baffles to keep the packing in place. They sound great. Good luck.

I put those on my 07 Low Rider just a few days ago. Had 1500 miles on the stock pipes. I also added the fuelpak to the ECM and the K&N air cleaner set-up. Do you plan on adding anything else like a new fuel mgmt system and new a/c?You may need to get the ECM flashed because of the more free-flowing exhaust. Fuel injected bike? I didn't get thequiet baffles....wanted to check the sound first of the installed baffles. Am very pleased with them..LOUD PIPES SAVES LIVES. Stock pipes really sucked!
