I have the harley stamped Screaming eagle II slip ons with the stock head pipes. Let's just say quiet is an understatement. I'm not looking for obnoxiously loud pipes but a little louder would be nice. Do these pipes get any louder with time?>? If not are the baffles removable? I was thinking of drilling them out? Any thoughts?

What year bike? Are these new, epa-compliant SEII slip-ons or the "for off-road use only" kick **** slip-ons? The latter sound great and have a nice bark to them.
Did you just buy them? Do you know the part number for the slip-ons?
80258-99a and 803xx-99a are the ones you really want. You have to buy them used on HDF or ebay or craigslist. HD stopped production of those a few yrs back.
You can also look into Cycle Shack slip-ons. Rumor has it they are the actual mfg of the original SEII slip-ons.
If you do have the new ones, check to see if the baffles are removable. You'll notice a single bolt holding the baffles in. If so, you can buy BCT thunder baffles.
