The black speed check transmission stick is HD #62700192. My understanding is they're too tall to work with ABS bikes; I'm non-ABS and it looks much better than the stock stick.

The Wide Glide did turn out nice, and it's a blast to ride; it's like a Wide Glide on steroids now

If it were me I would remove the tranny side cover and inspect. But thats just me

I use the HD speed check transmission stick and keep the original in the spares box. I'll cut off the shaft on the speed check so it's just a cap; if I want to check fluid level I'll grab the spare...
