Thank you for the offer but by the time I pay for shipping both ways and wait for delivery I'll probably be out the same $$ and just as long a wait. I checked several places and got the same response, from every automotive place they just don't want to mess with motorcycles. There are a few motorcycle shops that could do but their expensive and lead times are too to three weeks out. I'll just keep on the path I'm on now. At least this way I'm face to face with the guys that are going to do the work and they have a great reputation. Thanks!
There is a 1oo little nuances that have to be done.

I / weor , could list all the details here either to prove what we know or out of boredom.
His best bet is a buying an older valve machine and seat grinder and gets to know it, as he seems to have the skill to get there.
Then he could do odd jobs for a hobby/beer money.
I remember my valve first job-
The older gentleman walked over and said this does that, this does this and walked away-
Looking back he was very right! -
It is a lot like swimming-or riding a bike-ya just have to jump in and do it.

Not really. Generally they are reamed to size. You only need to hone if custom fitting.
I've owned valve and seat grinders in the past. Neway also works well especially if you motorize the cutter. Single point tool on a mill is good but there is some setup time. Then you have things like the Serdi.

Horse shet !
by the time they are pressed in place they have changed shape
Absolutely!
For a whole lot of reasons.
Race engines need this, aunt Nellie's looking for a 100000K mile engine needs something else.
it all depends on what is used for valves, that dictates what is used for guides and clearances
