So the stock apes on my WG aren't quite enough. I'm not sure where they get their measurements from so I know what to order. I measured and got 10" but I've seen guys call them 12" apes. I really don't need to go much higher, possibly just 2 more inches. I'd hate to order a set of 12's and be the same height though. What did ole Ma' HD run on the stock Wide Glide in 07 so I know where to go, or, where do I measure from so I know.

I have 10" apes and they are measured at the top of the verticle tubes as you can see in the picture. On mine at the grips it's more like 8" of rise.
