On a 2006 Dyna(FXDWGI), are the rear turn signals suppose to be on like the front turn signals and tailight(not the brake light) when the bike is running?
Put a BAL-1 tail light on the back of the bike. Mine has saved my butt twice, When I'm stopped and I see traffic coming up behind me I apply front brake lever and let them see that Bright *** Light.
No, but installing a run/brake/turn module is a great modification. And you can connect it to do different options like run/turn, run/brake, turn/brake, or the ultimate run/brake/turn.
No, but with the brake module, they become brake lights I would think on an 2006. Think you need later canbus for what post 7 is saying but maybe not. You need to change lens also to red plastic besides the plug and play box that hooks to pigtail underseat going to rear. My 04 only changes it to add brake to the original signal light rear single element bulbs.

That is cool. Is it a Harley module? It must be taking the center run light wire and putting it thru a resistor before feeding it to single element high wattage signal/brake light bulb. Of course, the diodes do the rest.
On newer bikes, canbus can do this. It is used to modify output on Canada and USA bikes since their requirements are different for night and day use.

The stock rears are not running lights. I'm in the process of doing this on a 2010 FXDC. I am using all Custome Dynamics parts. Low profile LED tail light, red/amber LED rear turn/brake/run and LED front amber turn/run. All being controlled with their Smart Triple Play and Signal Stabilizer modules. Rears will also strobe for a few seconds when first applying the brake.
