Your probably right but I bought it because it specifically says for '91 and up Dynas, but as someone pointed out, Evo and Twin Cam are different. When I get around to it Im going to modify it to try to make it work.
Their website says aluminum, probably type 3 hard coated Pics to me show bushing carrier aluminum also. That big of a piece of steel would weigh much more that 3 pounds
On another note , I originally was going to modify my Predator mount to get the CCE mount to fit by shaving some off the front of the main support block of the Predator where it bolts to the frame, so I emailed Predator to inquire about buying just that support block to mod and they never responded to my email. Well today, one week to the day of my email I get a box in the mail from England with a new support block in it., no questions asked. Thats pretty awesome, THANKS PREDATOR!!!

Update on CCE rear motor mount. Its a nicely made heavy duty piece, much more beefy than the stock mount. Ill try to post some pictures later but this motor mount id a lot bigger than stock, though Id have trouble fitting it up in there but it fit fine. Had to grind a little off the top of the mount due to interference with some casting irregularities where the mount bolts to the transmission case. With that done, I got the CCE mount bolted in place. Had to loosen my Predator front mount to help line up the rear mount and when I went to reattach the Predator, I could not get the hardware to line up because the new rear mount makes the engine sit about 1/4" to 3/8" forward in the frame. Not too happy about this expensive mount. Since I had to grind on it I cant send it back but I am determined to make it work. My plan is to take it to the machinist at work and have him shave off a 1/4" off the flange where it mounts to the frame, in effect moving the mount (and engine) towards the rear. We've got a ride/camping trip coming up next week so in mean time I got another stock type mount mount to use untill I make this CCE mount work.
I will report back once I modify this mount.
If Im not mistaken the Predator front motor mount pushes the engine forward a bit. Which is why you had a issue with the CCE rear motor mount.
Actually the problem was the CCE rear mount was pushing the engine too far foward. My plan is to machine a bit off the face of the CCE mount and try again next time I have to change the rear mount. I think there is a slight difference between Evo and Twin Cam rear mounts. Ive got an Evo and I think the CCE mount is the later style. Not sure about the diff between the Evo and Twin Can mounts so if someone knows for sure, school me.
I installed all three CCE mounts on my 2016 low rider. the hardest part was alignment. I watched glide pro on youTube four times to get it.

Check out F86s thread about mounts, he has an excellent way of doing this that once you try it, youll wonder why Harley doesnt do it this way...its very simple to do....
