Default Mx bars with risers vs tbar mx style

I’m looking for a comfterble set of bars I’m coming from the dirt bike world and love mx bars. At the moment I have 14 inch apes with the 3 inch risers I think. They are almost above my head. I ride with a slouch and would like something a little lower than shoulder height. I’m 5’10” and I also would like to stunt a little bit. I have an 08 dyna super glide. Trying to figure out the best height for stunting but I don’t want to have have to lean over the tank and feel completely uncomfortable while riding.

I just installed the hardcase performance 9.5 in riser with renthal rc mini bars. Im 5' 10 and they are good for cruising. Id say tho for stunting go with the 7" riser andrenthal rc minis. I like them because the bar is narrower than others, the clamping area is in good proportion to the riser clamps the bar rise is perfect in relation to sweep and width.. imo its the perfect bar to riser ratio.

Pro's of a integrated riser/bar like the Lucky Daves - Ease of wiring, cons you cant rotate the bar for the best sweep/comfort.

Hardcase 9.5 risers + bar rise of your choice is a good choice.

I have both types and prefer the MX bars with risers over the MX style T-bars......the main reason is the MX bars with risers give you more adjustment. The T-bars are obviously fixed in one position and with the bars and riser set up you can roll the bars forward or backward, depending on where you like them. I too rode and raced mx for years and my Dyna just feels like a big dirt bike now.....I even have Pro-Tapers for it.

+1 for Mx bars on tall risers

But I'd hazard a guess after running this setup you can find where your "sweet spot" is and get the same measurements from MX T-Bars
