As an aside, I know you mentioned going to a bagger in a year or 2. Even at only 5'7" the difference in rider room between the Dyna & Touring is noticeable, with the Dyna having much more room. Passenger accommodations aren't as plush or roomy, but my missus doesn't do big mile rides anyway.

Yep, that should be all you need. Almost positive that any equivalent year footboard for baggers will fit.
Another consideration is that the baggers weigh about 200lbs more & being vertically challenged, that is very noticeable in parking situations, especially on sloping surfaces & sand/gravel. I wanted another bagger after a few years off 2 wheels, but my back, knees & ankle are jacked from 10 years on jump status & I knew there was no way in hell I wanted to wrestle around a 900lb bike.
