PSA - the DK Customs breather bolts are only 3/4" long, so that will NOT work with my K&N filtercharger intake and probably not others that are similar. I'm not sure of the hose diameter that comes with the kit but I'm looking to source a brass NPT tee fitting to replace the plastic once that comes with the DIY kit, anyone know what size or type to get, 1/4" or 1/8" all sides?

If you are venting to atmosphere, you might have too much oil in the crankcase. I keep my oil level at half of the dip stick and there are no drips and the misting from the breather bolts is almost nonexistent.

I’m only using the breather bolts that came with the K&N kit, but my kit arrived today so I will install it and things should calm down I’d imagine. I don’t understand why my levels act how they do but I’ll check it again tonight and keep an eye on it to compare again.

Just make sure you stick to one and only one method of checking....pick either a hot check or a cold check. I have found I get more accurate results doing a cold check.

Makes sense there, would you say a little high at cold Mark is ok, or too much?
