shorter kick stand help..
i just recently installed proggesive 11" short shocks on my 06 dyna now im going to have toget a new short kickstand unless there is a way to modify the old one..i read some where about a kickstand mod but i cant find it ..does anyone know of this mod to shortin the kickstand

I've got 11,5" rear shocks and 1" lowering kit in front. FXDCI. No need for a shorter kickstand.

I lowered mine as well and dont seem the need for one, am I missing something?

well the bike stands up straighter than it did before the short shocks and as long as im parked on a flat surface it will be fine but i somtimes find myself parking on a incline and i dont want the bike to fall over,plus i have to lean the bike to the right more than i want to to get it off the stand.. it will probably be ok but im thinking safty for me and the bike ...lol...dont want to walkout and see it laying on its side ..

I havent heard of anyones bike falling over after it had been lowered, but honestly $100 plus for a shorter kickstand seems like a waste, then again its not my coin

lol... well the way my lucks been going i,ll be the first you,ll hear about if the bike falls over.... i might just leave it alone ..thanks for the advice guys
