I have 11 inchers on the rear of my Bob. Stock stand, no problems.

I lowered my Sportster and ended up changing stands. Before I changed it, I also had to lean it to the right to get it down and it got downright squirrelly.

I lowered mine, as you did, and you are absolutely right. It doesn't lean as much as I would like. Didn't want it to fall over. I ended up putting the stock shocks on. With just me on the bike, things were OK; but I went on a trip with my wife and T-Bag....to make a long story short, my tire rubbed the inside of the fender, toasting my wiring under there. Took me a long time to rewire (not much room). Good luck in your search, you should get a shorter stand for piece of mind

i had same problem when lowered bike i felt like a puff of wind would blow it over, solution go to dealer and buy a sportser kick its about 39 bucks, and a inch shorter, when you buy lowering kit from harley thats what comes with it at a extra of course
