Before our recent trip to Yellowstone I got a set of the Fox Creek deerskin gloves. Even in the 30's my hands were fine and the gauntlet was way up past my wrist, well worth the money!!! And talk about soft and flexible right out of the package.....

Personally, I hate gloves, and the thinner the better on the bike so I can operate the controls.
That being said, for me anyway. get heated gloves, grips or put a heat pack in there.
I just installed heated bar/grip inserts for this very reason. $112 on Ebay.

Living here in New Hampshire, one of the coldest states, I've tried so many different gloves. EXCEPT for heated gloves and grips because I don't want all of that mess. The ONLY ones that have kept my hands warm in sub 30 degree weather are the leather gauntlets from HD. Plenty warm for 30 mile trips at 50mph

I am not a big fan of wearing gloves either and thats why the ones I have now are thin so that I can feel everything still.
But if I want to keep riding into winter its a must and the ones I have wont allow that.

It is good to hear that the Harley gloves do in fact work well.

Looks like I have some good ideas to look at now so thanks.

now that’s funny, living in Canada I can tell you what cold is...try -62 degrees...that’s why you see cars with electrical plugs hanging out the front...to plug the block heaters in...otherwise your car is not starting....

but glove wise, I use to run some of the thinner snowmobile gauntlet style ones...

I said states. As in United States. Nobody said anything about Canada. I'm sure it's cold as a witch's titty up there though

Yeah, but, keep in mind, -62 in Canada is -80 here!

I don't ride when it gets that cold. Why would I? I have a car for a reason...not least of which is protection from the elements.

NW Ohio doesn't get down to -60, but I've seen -25F with regular days at -10-ish. That's pretty chilly as far as I'm concerned.
