Default Engine Cooling Fans on FXDL
Has anyone installed engine cooling fans such as the Love Jugs Mighty Mites on a FXDL? I'm wondering how these worked around the ignition switch. Pics??

I use Wards fans on my 107 (Twin Cam) Road King. I can't see how the above product could be as effective.

It's cheap enough. I would spend the extra cash and go with the Ultra Cool fanned oil cooler..

i like the looks of that one better then the love jugs...they are great for blowing hot air onto your right leg

some time back, a guy on the forum showed a good way to relocate the ignition switch to the R.H. side and mounted a set of miti mites, can't remember the name of the poster.

I have that..... It's a "parade fan" which means you shouldn't ride with it on. Use only when stuck in traffic. It was featured in American Iron magazine. It was an easy install and hidden away. It does blow off a lot of heat but the downside is that it blows the heat right at your right thigh so you have to keep your foot on the peg and out of the way.

Hadn't seen that before. I like that it appears to be fairly hidden. I get stuck in traffic often enough might be worth considering.

I'd really like to see how much difference it actually makes though.
