Finally had to break down and change my stock exhaust clamps - after having the slips off about a dozen times, they were stretched beyond use. Decided to take Phreak's advice and shoot my SEIIs with BBQ paint. Ten minutes with a couple sheets of 100 grit paper, a short bath and six coats of Rustoleum High Temp.
Pretty impressed with the look so far. Think I'll pull the chrome HD billboard off the battery box tonight and paint it gloss black...
Are those the screaming eagle II's? ... If so ... Stock baffles or BCT?
I am looking into finding a set of screaming eagle II's and putting in BCT baffles with a stage I ecm upgrade and the stock air cleaner, and I am wondering if my 07 bob would be ok as far as a/f ratio with that set up. I am trying to avoid having to spend the money for the SERT since I am not really looking for perfomance upgrades, but am looking for that "sound"

If you start dic*in' with the air flow, you'll need some type of fuel controller (PCIII, TFI, etc.) they run dangerously lean from the factory which does'nt leave a fudge factor.
Mine are SEII (stamped with the off road use disclaimer) and currently have the stock SEII baffles. I ran BCTs for a few weeks and sold them on Flea Bay. While they sound great, just a bit too loud for me. I ride to work everydayand while I don't have any neighbors to speak of, Iwas getting some grief from my superintendent at work.

The dealer was telling me about if I just do the SEII with BCT baffles ... and leave the stock air cleaner .... I would only need a stage I ecm upgrade that I wouldn't need a full tuner ... Is this correct? ... Also ... Where the hell can I find SEII's?!!?!
