Quick turnaround indeed.
What does a rwisted crank do to the rod bearings, case bearings, oil pump, etc? Were they inspected and/or replaced?
Sounds like shortcuts were taken...
The engine shop I grew up in (dad was a drag team mechanic) would never replace JUST a twisted/bent crank.

Ouch...trying to combine a few links here as you have been talking about the flywheel for some time...but I can’t remember if you said anything about a build sheet. By changing out the flywheels your basically rebuilding the whole motor as a min the mechanic should looked at the pistons, not to mention what cggorman said about the bearings, oil pump etc hope this guy does you right....fixing this.
