Default Dyna fxd Loud noise

So, i bought my fxd 2008 some weeks ago, and a been feeling like the back of the motor and transmission are hitting the frame, especially when i hit a bump, i just got the new front mount, but didnt change yet. I already tight the tank and its not him, so only remais the back mount right? And other doubt, its ok to ride on highway like that? Im going to ride about 450km this weekend. Thanks guys for any reply.

Why would you ride 450k's when you know you've got a problem, unless you HAVE to?
Get your issue resolved before you add potentially further damage.
Change BOTH engine mounts. The aftermarket seems to sell a decent product in this field.

Did you check BOTH mounting spots for the tank?

You said you got the front mount but didn't change it yet? What are you waiting for? Do that first and see if the noise goes away. If it doesn't I wouldn't ride the bike until you figure it out.

If your shocks aren't adjusted for the weight the bike is carrying you could be bottoming out your shocks or hitting the bottom corner of the rear fender with your swing arm. Might want to check on this.

Check the rear mount. I had my Indy replace the rear mount and the next day the engine was banging on the cross member.
