Going to install v/h straightshot hs slipons. Stealership guy told me today he didn't like the v/h cl;amps and the HD clamps should be replaced as they are a one time use clamp. Sounds a little fishy to me. Not knowing I appeal to you guys?????????? thanks guys (07 superglide custom)

No problem using stock clamps to install mine. Really had to crank on them though.

I agree, I'm actually getting the straightshot slipons my self later this week.

Going to use the existing muffler clamps. Thick and beefy.

I bought new HD clamps, as I broke a clamp before changing the muffler. Snapped very easily. Opted for new ones.

They only seal good 1 time... But they can be used over again, ya just dont get good equal preasure 360 deg. In the dealer world he was right. New ones also help geting the slipon's straight with the head pipe without drooping later..
